Laura & Chris - Peak District Wedding Photographer

This wedding day was a bit special. The beautiful bride, Laura and I studied art together at college. She has gone on to run the sweetest business making hand made gifts. Definitely have a look at her shop here! She is one talented lady so I knew when she asked me to photograph her big day, that it would be visually stunning! She did not disappoint! When I arrived at the venue Lower Damgate Farm the morning of the wedding, I gasped as I saw how Laura & Chris (along with the help of friends and family!) had filled the space so beautifully. Every way I turned there was a new detail to photograph. Another awesome thing about going to college with a load of talented people is that when one of them gets married, another does the flowers! Laura of Laurel Flower Studio created the most perfect blooms for the day, a wonderful mix of wild, delicate and pops of colour.

Onto the rest of the day, Laura and Chris were so anxious to see one another, it was the sweetest thing to see. As they were both getting ready at the venue, I was able to get some shots of the guys getting ready too and hearing Chris say the words " Laura would know how to do these.." as he nervously put on his button holes and pocket squares, was the loveliest thing. It was more the way he said it, like I could hear in that one sentence how much of a team they are, how they really are two halves of a whole. The whole day was relaxed and fun, it was a perfect fit for the happy couple. All their hard work really reflected in how the day came off. The icing on the cake for me was after dinner, we walked up into the fields above the farm to feed the goats and alpacas that lived there. Oh and I can't go without mentioning Matilda, the star corgi! I am definitely all for bringing your pets to your wedding, they make for the most adorable photos!

Congratulations to Mr & Mrs Worton, you guys are the best.
