Liz & Danny - Worcestershire Festival Wedding Photography

Liz & Danny's wedding was unlike any I've ever done before. As I'd met the happy couple twice already for their first meeting & their engagement shoot, I already felt like they were friends. So by the time the big day came around I was really looking forward to hanging out with them again and I couldn't wait to see how all their plans for a festival themed, vegan wedding had come together! I definitely wasn't disappointed! Every detail was perfect and represented them as a couple so well. The atmosphere was so laid back, with several different areas & tents, it really did have that festival vibe. Their friends and family had also poured their love into the day, with cakes & decorations.

The day was held at Out to Grass -  perfect for anyone planning a festival themed wedding!

On the morning of the wedding, I joined Liz and her maids getting ready. Everyone was giddy for what the day was going to bring & the whole room cooed as Danny sent Liz the sweetest text! Jess & Mandy did a perfect job of hair and make up & Jenny Fleur's wild flowers & flower crowns were just to die for! Lets also have a moment for Liz's gorgeous Grace Loves Lace dress!!

The ceremony was a humanist one, with a handfasting to bind the marriage. It was emotional and so so romantic. The rest of the day just flowed so easily, everyone was relaxed and enjoyed the food, music & henna tattoos. I even got a tattoo myself!

The main reason this wedding was unlike any other is that I had originally agreed to stay late to capture a fire maze, however the wet weather meant this didn't happen, but I stayed anyway and by the end of the night I felt like one of the guests, I'd been welcomed in by the sweet bridesmaids and ended up joining in with their silent disco - which was so much fun by the way!! Definitely recommend it! I finally left the wedding at about 2am, with thousands of photos in the bag and a full heart. It's days like this one that make me feel especially lucky to do this job, to share these memories with so many wonderful people.

I have to say a big thank you to my two helpers on this day - Andy & Alex.
