Photography began as a creative outlet for me. It was a way for me to express myself. It gave me a voice, which was a big deal for this introvert.

Using my camera was always something that empowered me to be myself. It gave me confidence. Whenever I experienced rejection or went through a hard time, I found solace in creating beautiful photos.

Then as I grew through life, I experienced heartache & loss. I lost my best friend to cancer at only 27. This showed me the true value of having beautiful photos of our loved ones. After we’re gone, photos & memories are all that’s left. This reframed how important photos truly are. Photos allow us to relive these incredible moments, feel how we felt. That’s priceless. Photos only increase in value over time.

I’ve been a photographer for 16 years & photographing weddings for 10 years. I have a lot of experience under my belt. I’ve spent these years honing my craft, investing in pushing myself & learning more, to be the very best I can be at my job.

I learned to shoot film because I believe it’s the best medium for photographing such precious, beautiful moments. There’s no room for error when it comes to film so this has made me a better photographer both technically & creatively. Creating a beautiful wedding gallery full of timeless, emotive images is something I’m extremely passionate about. Creating heirlooms to pass down to our children so they can experience the wedding through the photos. Bringing those moments back to life.

Film photography produces timeless images as a result, the highest quality, the most beautiful tones and colour. I have been in love with it for as long as I can remember.

My approach allows me to capture images in an intentional way, capturing moments organically, never anything forced.

What will you get from working with me? Beautiful timeless images that stand the test of time. Invaluable memories kept for life in photo form. Fine art, handmade albums, custom print boxes & high quality prints to display in the home. Physical prints make the memories feel more tangible. Something really important when looking back on a special time with people that mean the world to you - to hold those moments in your hands makes them feel real again.

I live in Birmingham with my husband, Joe & our little boy, Louis. Becoming a mother has added another layer of appreciation for the importance of photos. Life goes faster as my little one grows & he changes so fast. It's invaluable to have all the little moments on camera to look back on.
