I'm SO excited to be working with you!

This little guide is just to say a warm hello and give you some more information about what our experience together will be like.

We’re going to take photos, but what will it actually be like?

We’re going to find a balance between gentle posing you so you look beautiful (I promise you will!) and letting things unfold naturally so we capture the real you. All you need to do is to show up ready to show how you love your favourite people.

As this is a mini session & I'll be doing multiple sessions on the day, time is of the essence. So please arrive with plenty of time to get parked up and enter the farm before the start of your chosen session time. Sometimes there can be a long queue to get in so bare this in mind. Late arrival will cut into your session time.

WHERE TO MEET ME: We will meet inside the entrance to the fields. Just a friendly reminder that the entry fee for the farm is not included in your mini session price & you'll need to pay this on arrival. Details can be found here.

AFTER THE SESSION: Once the film has been developed & scanned, all images are carefully hand edited & delivered within 1 week of your session, via a private online gallery. You can then select your favourite 15 images to download free. Additional digital files and prints can be ordered through your gallery.

What to Wear

Texture and clothes that move are the camera’s best friend (think linen, loose cotton, knit, flowy dresses, etc.)

Don’t be afraid of print and colour, but opt for smaller prints rather than larger prints. As you'll be surrounded by beautiful lavender, you may want to consider how the colour of your clothes may look next to the purple. Here's a colour pallette to help you see what colours would work well with the lavender.

Babies (1 year and under) look best in a simple short sleeved vest, dungarees/overalls or just a nappy cover/shorts (let's see those thigh rolls!!) Separates often end up getting bunched up when you hold little ones.

Avoid anything with words/logos

When in doubt - keep things simple - pick out neutral/earthy tones that compliment each other.

You definitely don't need to buy anything new for your session, but if you want to treat yourself - my favorite sources for clothes for portrait sessions: Zara, Mango & ASOS

Get Excited!

If there's anything I can help you with in the run up to the day, just give me a shout! I'll see you very soon!
